As a child, I believed that losing fat would make me a better, more lovable person. My journey with health began there, in that innocent yet misguided belief. Dietitians became my guideposts, and each time I lost weight, I felt a fleeting sense of self-worth. But the journey never truly ended.
During my teen years, I bounced from one dietitian to another, always chasing that elusive feeling of "enoughness." When I wasn't under professional guidance, I tried to maintain my progress on my own. Without knowledge or balance, my efforts spiraled into cycles of restriction, overexercising, and an unhealthy obsession with "perfect eating."
By the time I entered university, my identity was entirely wrapped around being the "healthy one." No sugar. No gluten. No junk food. The list of "NOs" kept growing until even the simplest decision - like choosing a meal - became mentally exhausting. I defaulted to eating the same big salad every day because the pressure of assessing the "healthiest" option was too much to bear.
What I didn't realize was how much I was hurting myself. My body was overburdened, struggling to digest the endless raw vegetables I fed it. I was living in constant stress restricting, obsessing, and starving myself at times. My body began to rebel with severe gut issues.
When I was diagnosed with IBS, I was told to follow a low FODMAP diet, which meant cutting out many of the fruits and vegetables I loved. I felt trapped and defeated, slipping into a dark place where it seemed easier not to eat at all than to endure the pain that came with food. I became a victim of my own story, convinced I'd never truly heal.
Years later, I discovered that the probiotics I'd been religiously taking - thinking they were helping - had likely contributed to SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth). Combined with the strain I had placed on my gut with all the raw vegetables, my body was overwhelmed.
Finally, with the help of a nutritionist and a structured protocol, my gut issues improved dramatically. For the first time in years, I felt hope.
In 2022, I took a leap of faith and left my career as a lawyer. My body had been rejecting the life I was living for years, and it was time to listen. I became certified as a nutrition coach through Precision Nutrition, and everything began to change.
Through education, self-discovery, and a lot of unlearning, I healed my relationship with food, my body, and myself. But the most profound shift came when I stopped being a victim. I stopped complaining and began paying attention to the power of my thoughts. I realized how much of my reality was shaped by the way I perceived it. By becoming conscious of my thoughts and choosing ones that empowered me, I unlocked a new level of healing.
This realization became the foundation of my work. I'm not your average nutritionist. I don't just focus on meal plans or calories - I believe that everything in your life is connected. Your health isn't just about what's on your plate; it's about the thoughts you think, the beliefs you hold, and the experiences you've carried with you. By identifying trauma, uncovering limiting beliefs, and becoming conscious of our thought patterns, we can heal in ways that ripple across every area of life.
True healing isn't about restriction or perfection. It's about freedom. It's about creating balance in your body, peace in your mind, and alignment in your soul. When we address the root causes not just the symptoms we open the door to lasting transformation.
My mission is to guide women toward that transformation. I'm here to help you break free from the old narratives that keep you stuck, to take full ownership of your health, and to step into a life of clarity, confidence, and empowerment. Together, we'll work to heal not just your body, but your relationship with yourself.
Say goodbye to the old patterns that no longer serve you. Welcome to the new YOU - healthy, vibrant, and free.
